CHHATTISGARH

 

                             Panthi: The folk dance of the Satnami community of Chhattisgarh bears religious overtones. Performed on Maghi Purnima - the birth anniversary of their Guru(Saint) Guru Ghasidas, the dance is evolving still to include a variety of steps and patterns. The dancers dance around a jaitkhamb set up for the occasion, to the songs eulogizing their spiritual head. The songs also reflect the Nirvana philosophy, conveying the spirit of renunciation of their Guru and the teachings of saint poets like Kabir, Ramdas, Dadu, etc. Dancers with bent torsos and swinging arms continue to dance till carried away by their devotion. As the rhythm quickens, they indulge in acrobatics and even form human pyramids. Raut Nacha: A traditional folk dance usually done by Yadav's / yaduvanshis (a caste which considers itself as descendants of Krishna) as the symbol of worship to Krishna. Done at the time of 'dev udhni Ekadashi' (time of awakening of Gods after brief rest) according to Hindu dancing (calendar). The dance is a close resemblance of Krishna's raas leela (dance of lord with his village's girls called gopis) with gopis.

                  Tarangamel: The multi-hued dance is all energy and youthfulness. On the occasions of Dussehra and Holi, the spirited young girls and boys swarm the streets in the colorful group, waving flags and streamers (Tarang), inspiring, and inviting one and all to imbibe the festive spirit. They shout Ho! Ho! To the beats of 'rout', 'dhol', and 'Tasha'. The rainbow-like costumes of the dancers and the multi-colored flags and streamers make Tarangamel a visually appealing affair.

छत्तीसगढ

 

                            पंथी: छत्तीसगढ़ के सतनामी समुदाय का लोक नृत्य धार्मिक ओवरटोन को सहन करता है। माघी पूर्णिमा पर प्रदर्शन - उनके गुरु (संत) गुरु घासीदास की जयंती, नृत्य अभी भी विभिन्न चरणों और पैटर्न को शामिल करने के लिए विकसित हो रहा है। नर्तकियों ने इस मौके के लिए अपने आध्यात्मिक सर को स्तब्ध करते हुए गीतों के लिए एक जयस्तंभ के चारों ओर नृत्य किया। गाने भी निर्वाण दर्शन को दर्शाते हैं, उनके गुरु के त्याग की भावना और कबीर, रामदास, दादू, आदि जैसे संत कवियों की शिक्षाओं के साथ नृत्य करते हैं, झुके हुए टॉरोस और झूलते हथियारों के साथ नर्तक अपनी भक्ति द्वारा दूर तक नृत्य करते हैं। जैसे ही ताल तेज होता है, वे कलाबाजी करते हैं और यहां तक ​​कि मानव पिरामिड बनाते हैं। राउत नाचा: आमतौर पर यादव / यदुवंशियों (एक जाति जो खुद को कृष्ण का वंशज मानती है) द्वारा किया जाने वाला पारंपरिक लोक नृत्य कृष्ण की पूजा का प्रतीक है। हिंदू नृत्य (कैलेंडर) के अनुसार 'देव उधनी एकादशी' (संक्षिप्त विश्राम के बाद देवताओं के जागरण का समय) के समय किया गया। नृत्य कृष्ण की रास लीला (गोपियों के साथ उनके गाँव की लड़कियों का गोपियों के साथ नृत्य) का एक करीबी सादृश्य है।

                  तरंगमंगल: बहु-नृत्य नृत्य सभी ऊर्जा और युवावस्था है। दशहरा और होली के अवसर पर, उत्साही युवा लड़कियों और लड़कों ने रंगीन समूह में सड़कों पर झूले, झंडे और धाराएं (तरंग) लहराते हुए, एक और सभी को उत्सव की भावना को महसूस करने के लिए आमंत्रित किया। वे चिल्लाते हैं हो! हो!
